X-3 Construction work at Mizushima

Unloding
At Mizushima public quay.
The bottom section of splited tower
which weighs 94ton was off-loaded by 300ton Floating Crane,then laden on 300ton self-propelled transporter. The tower was splited into three pieces because of inconvenience for hauling in one piece.







Transportation
Electric wire had to be lifted to clear the tower of 8.7m laden height.
The clearance to green-belt was also very tight.

Skidding
The tower was off-loaded on skates by two cranes and pulled by winch to allow the load to clear the pipe rack which had 7.15m clearance above the ground.
The tower was laden on the transporter after clearing the pipe rack and brought to the site.
